GASOLINE is a post Tresspasser Dragon Age: Inquisition roleplay set in 9:50 Wintermarch, Dragon. The Inquisition has been disbanded, refusing to bend knee to the Chantry. He plans on destroying the world, creating a new one in his perfect image. Release the Evanuris, bring the world back to the time of the elves. But, unknown to most of the world, Solas is slowly becoming corrupted- and rumors of the sixth blight and a new archdemon emerging are lose on the tongues of spies and maids alike. The new Inquisition, under it's new alias, works diligently from the shadows and away from the eyes of nobility and the hierarchy of Orlais and Ferelden to gain information and armies to combat this new threat on the horizon. The fate of Thedas is in your hands- what role will you play in it's future? Will you be the light in the storm, or the gasoline that helps it to burn?

Hope and pray that you never need me, But rest assured I will not let you down. I walk beside you, but you never see me, The strongest among you may not wear a crown.
Citizen Soldier - 3 Doors Down
You, Erolith, were born much as any other elf in the cities of Ferelden. You were poor and knew little in the way of comforts. But that didn't bother you all too much. Why would it? It had been all you knew and lived in. Want and hunger. Pain and suffering. It was all just as family to you as those who shared your blood and house. It was a simple life. You worked and played as best you could, making things work as best as you could. After all, that's what it means to be an elf does it not? But that was your life, and you had accepted it. You still despised it. Your father even forbade you to practice your gift. You had often tried to explain why he should allow you, but you only received a hush and maybe a slap to silence your pleas. Even as your gift grew... you could not understand it truly. The word "magic" meant little to your pointed ears. As your age increased, so did your power. But it was raw and untrained. After all, who would train you when even your father had forbidden you to so much as speak of your gift. But as you experimented in secret as a teenager with producing embers from your hands, you grew to resent the restraints upon you. But all that changed when the arl's son was murdered. Following that, the guards redoubled their caution regarding the alienage. And when one happened to see your practice, you received no mercy. As their fists rained to your skull, all that you could think was your father's warning that you had so willingly disregarded. Awakening in a tower surrounded by humans an elves alike that shared your gift, a flame awoke in you. A burning and consuming fire of hatred for humankind. You had harmed no one and been sent to a prison, surrounded by templars that would have enjoyed nothing more than just to shove a sword into your chest. Circle life did however give you one opportunity that your family and home never had, the ability to study and train your gift. It was limited and difficult in that place, but it was better than nothing after all. You learned how to control your gifts and delved as far as you could into the studies that would allow you to grow it more and more powerful. And in the depths of your mind, you began to plan your escape. You did not fancy your chances against the templars, but you refused to be contained in that place for the remainder of your life. Delving into the art of changing your own form, you focused your efforts away from the prying eyes as best as could be done. But this brought with it another desire. One for knowledge and the hidden power that it would bring with it. Your desire grew and festered like an old wound, growing worse with each passing second it did not receive satisfaction. And as the time passed, it grew to encompass your very being. You swore to see it sated and know the history and secrets of your people and those of magic. But as it turned out, your plan was meaningless in the end. The circles themselves decided to rebel, and that gave you the chance that you had been longing for. Gladly embracing the cause in the name of your own freedom, you were eager to spill the blood of those who had hampered you. As well as any who would dare to wish it upon you again. When rebellion broke out, you took the initiative and took to the field. Your abilities gave you an advantage, changing to escape when the danger was to great. But you soon knew that you didn't belong on the front lines of the conflict. Instead you fell back to your secretive ways and sought out any secrets that could aid your cause. And to that end, you set out to find ruins that contained the secrets of your people. The magic and powers that you believed hidden there would surely be worth the effort that it would draw from you. However, you could not read the words upon the walls of the temples. You could not understand the statues and murals that adorned the walls of the ruins that you delved. The history and knowledge eluded you, just out of reach. It was all so familiar and yet lingered like a half-forgotten dream. You increasingly grew frustrated and began to entertain thoughts of leaving to pursue something that didn't rouse these feelings of anger and frustration inside you. However fortune was willing to smile upon you for once in your life. During a ritual to entreat the aid of the spirits, you felt something far more powerful take hold of your mind and cloud your head. The entity offered you all the secrets that you craved, and the knowledge of the past that had eluded you. It identified itself as Dirthamen and your heart leapt within your chest. You were offered the chance to free a god from the bonds of the beyond. Embracing the soul with fervor in your heart, your eyes were opened. Dirthamen's power and knowledge flowed like fire through your veins. Nothing had felt as sweet before, nor did you wish the feeling to cease. Returning from your expedition, you found the mages on the defensive and a hole adorning the sky. \Dirthamen urged you on, his influence pushing at your mind. Putting yourself into the service of the lovely spymaster of the inquisition, you plodded forward. Sharing the information to help their cause, you sought to find the others who escaped the beyond. You were driven to seek the other gods. To restore your reign amongst them. His rule. You could no longer tell. Why would you? Dirthamen had chosen you. And he acted through you. To bring back what had been lost.
Friends: Erolith mainly sees people who understand and acknowledge the fact that he will attempt to use them (and will keep secrets from them) as the only ones intelligent enough to align with. However, he does understand that they will likely try to do the same. But he enjoys the act of it and finds the Game of the nobility amusing. Anyone with secrets or who provides him with a nice game of cat and mouse is someone who would be of interest. The other Evanuris are also on that list, but rivalries are sure to occur. Anyone who stands up for elves against humans is also firmly in his good books, Enemies: This is pretty broad. Almost anyone can be set as his enemy for a bit or permanently. Dirthamen certainly would have feuded with the other Evanuris and it would be interesting to see some awesome conflicts come from this. But really, anyone Erolith is done using could certainly provide some lovely drama. And humans are always on his target list until they prove that they deserve otherwise. And even then... he'll always view them as not more than a misstep away from being back in his sights. Lovers: This one is pretty simple. Male or female. Erolith likes both. As long as they're attractive to him, he'll consider bedding them. But actual relationships is something he firmly detests.
