GASOLINE is a post Tresspasser Dragon Age: Inquisition roleplay set in 9:50 Wintermarch, Dragon. The Inquisition has been disbanded, refusing to bend knee to the Chantry. Solas knows to much about the inquisition anyways- their weaknesses, fears, names, who their families are. He could use this information to his advantage if they were to revolt against him. He plans on destroying the world, creating a new one in his perfect image. Release the Evanuris, bring the world back to the time of the elves. But, unknown to most of the world, Solas is slowly becoming corrupted- and rumors of the sixth blight and a new archdemon emerging are lose on the tongues of spies and maids alike. The new Inquisition, under it's new alias, works diligently from the shadows and away from the eyes of nobility and the hierarchy of Orlais and Ferelden to gain information and armies to combat this new threat on the horizon. The fate of Thedas is in your hands- what role will you play in it's future? Will you be the light in the storm, or the gasoline that helps it to burn?

MAJOR ORGANIZATION ROLE CLAIM
Character roles are like the occupations and other held positions in Thedas including the Hero of Ferelden, Champion of Kirkwall, Inquisitor; and even includes some lesser known positions like hierarchy positions in the Grey Wardens. All positions nobility can hold are also included, but please ensure that a spot you wish to take is not already occupied by an unclaimed canon name, as there are many nobles already named that do not have backgrounds but are available as minor canon claims. Please make sure you reserve or claim your character's position if it's a major position or a part of the plot or a subplot.
Some roles have already been filled by canons- but if the canon is not written in their membergroup color, the canon has not been taken and this position/canon is still available. If we have missed any roles, please let a staff member know so that we may add it to the database.
If you cannot find the organization you are a part of, check out the MINOR ROLE CLAIM, which includes all other organizations, such as the Antivan Crows, Bull's Chargers, etc.
post in code when posting your claim or reserve to this thread!
1/1 KING — ALISTAIR THEIRIN
As of right now, there are only two teyrnirs, Highever and Gwaren. We will allow one Teyrn and one Teyrna (spouses) for each region. The teyrn of Highever is further restricted to a character bearing the Cousland last name, while the teyrn of Gwaren may be anyone that took over after Loghain Mac Tire's execution.
Arls command strategic fortresses that the Teyrns cannot oversee directly. There are currently 6 arlings. We will also up to 12 positions total. An art for each arling, and a spouse for each arl. Some are Canon and others can be taken by original characters. When choosing an ailing, please ensure that you research to see if the Canon Are is still claiming the position.
Banns are chosen by freeholders to swear their allegiance to. Some Banns are still required to swear fealty to certain arlings, such as Canon (Redcliffe) and the City of Amaranthine (Amaranthine). We will allow Ferelden canons and original characters to hold these titles. There are currently 13 bannorns. As such, we will only allow 13 banns, as there is no female equivalent for spouses.

PLAYER CHARACTER ROLES

The Hero of Ferelden brought together a group of people to help save Ferelden from the ravages of the Fifth Blight. Together, she united the humans, elves, dwarves, and mages to help defeat the darkspawn and slay the Archdemon.
THE CHAMPION OF KIRKWALL.
The Champion of Kirkwall was instrumental in several conflicts in Kirkwall, one of the Free Marcher states. Hawke lead an expedition into the Deep Roads, resulting in the discovery of a Primeval Thaig and the dangerous red lyrium. A year later, the Qunari launched an attack on Kirkwall, defying the orders of the rest of the leaders of the Qun. Hawke defeated the Qunari, killing the Arishok and restoring peace to Kirkwall. Some years later, the conflict between mages and templars finally reached a boiling point. Hawke intervened and not only were the mages lost, but also the Knight-Commander Meredith Stannard, who had been corrupted by red lyrium. Hawke also helped defeat Corypheus before he became the main antagonist of the Inquisition.
1/1 — — HAWKE
The Inquisition was disbanded by the Exaulted Council, but this did not stop the members of the Inquisition from continuing to want to do good. Several members broke off to create the Order of the Dragon, an organization with the same mission as the Inquisition, to remain a neutral force that can aid in any and all conflicts. The Inquisitor left to become an Elder of this council - an advisor to the War Commander, their protege, in order to help the attempts to bring peace to Thedas.
THE ORDER OF DRAGONS
The War Commander of the Order of Dragons is the protege of the Inquisitor, and has been apprenticed in combat and resolving conflict.
The elders are the advisers to the War Commander- much like Cullen, Cassandra, Leliana and Josephine were to the Inquisitor. We are only allowing eight of these positions at the current time. We will accept original characters and canons for this role
Leliana vacated the position of Spymaster when she was renamed Divine Victoria. The Spymaster is responsible for the work of all the spies and is the hub of the central intelligence of the Order. We will allow a minor canon or original character for this title.
